Xiaolu (Sherry) Ou
Research Assistant
Sherry Ou joined Rainbow Research as a Research Assistant in July 2009. She brings research experience in philanthropy, communication and public finance.
Sherry concentrated her graduate study on advanced policy analysis. She developed and implemented evaluation tools for community-based nonprofit organizations, and enjoyed helping them achieve program goals by providing evaluation and analysis assistance. Sherry is a recipient of Humphrey Fellowship and Humphrey Alumni Tuition Grant. She worked as a finance intern for the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board in 2008 and completed her professional paper on corporate charitable contributions in 2009 before graduation.
Sherry holds a Master degree in Public Policy from the University of Minnesota, Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs and a Bachelor degree in Public Relations from Sun Yat-Sen University. Sherry speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin. When she is not at the office, she likes to cook American-Chinese fusion cuisine and spend time outdoors.
