Crystal Myslajek joined Rainbow Research in October 2009 after completing her master’s studies in policy at the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Policy at the University of Minnesota. She brings research experience in immigration policy, poverty research, housing policy, and criminal justice studies.
At the Humphrey Institute she worked as a graduate research assistant on a cross-national comparative study of immigration and refugee policies in industrialized nations. In 2008, Crystal worked as a research assistant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis on housing policy research.
Crystal holds a Masters of Public Policy from Humphrey Institute of Public Policy at the University of Minnesota. Her area concentration for her degree is research and policy analysis to reduce poverty. Myslajek speaks Spanish and Portuguese. She is also a vegetable gardener and musician, and enjoys riding her bike to work everyday, rain, snow, or shine.
