Jim Toscano
Vice Chair

James Toscano is Rainbow’s Board Vice Chair and is President of the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation. Previously, he has served as the Executive Vice President of the Park Nicollet Institute, Senior Vice President of American MedCenters, and President and Chief Executive Officer of the Minnesota Museum of Art, among many other leadership positions. He holds an MA in political science from Yale. 

In addition to his service on the Rainbow Board, Toscano serves on the West Summit Neighborhood Advisory Committee, is the Board Treasurer of Public Arts St. Paul and the Minnesota Charities Review Council, and serves on the boards of the Summit Avenue Residential Preservation Association, Friends of the St. Paul Public Library, the Bakken Museum and Library, and Memorial Blood Bank, among others.  He has been included in Who's Who in America (1981), and  Who's Who in the Midwest (1976).

Toscano’s experience and passion for health care and the arts is a valuable addition to the Rainbow Board. He also has expertise in nonprofit management, which is a tremendous asset to Rainbow and the Rainbow Board.
