Jonathan Palmer is the sixth Executive Director for the Hallie Q. Brown Community Center, Inc., a private, nonprofit social service agency serving the Summit University area of Saint Paul, Minnesota, coming out of the settlement house movement, and founded in 1929. He is an avid historian and gives presentations and talks on African, African American, and Scottish history and culture as well as being the genealogist for his own family.
He lives in North Minneapolis with his wife Emily and two daughters, Sahro and Siobhan, and their cats, Hank and Lizzie. Jonathan is a 1994 graduate of Morehouse College where he received his BA in Psychology with a minor in Drama. He is currently in the process of completing an MA in Public Affairs at the Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota.
