On behalf of the Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services (DHFS), we conducted a series of focus groups with members of traditionally under-represented communities, or those whose distinct experiences and needs have not been generally recognized or well served by the community institutions that respond to sexual and domestic violence. Focus groups were held in seven rural and urban locations around the state of Wisconsin.
