In 2004-2005, Rainbow conducted a two phased study of Habitat for Humanity homeowners. The study began with focus groups of homeowners to hear what they feel owning a home has contributed to their quality of life. Data from the focus groups was used to develop an interview tool. In 2005, Rainbow then interviewed homeowners that purchased their homes in 2000 to find out how homeowners and their families were doing five years after purchasing their homes.
